Travelling – Petri Hytönen and Akseli Gallen-Kallela
The catalogue of Travelling is an encounter of two draughtsmen, a journey to the sources of making images, the world of drawings and sketches. The book replicates the immediate and unpolished moods of the sketch-books. The material of the catalogue consists of Petri Hytönen's sketch-books from 1977–2009 and images from Akseli Gallen-Kallela's collection of drawings from the 1870s to 1931.

Eric O.W. Ehrström

"... eternally boyish, with his head full of endless inventions. But in the pages of art history he was much more: an ornamental artist, jeweller, painter, author of fairy-tales, enchaser, ceramist, commercial artist, master chef, instrument maker and an unbelievable gourmet" (translated from Antti Halonen, Taiteen juhlaa ja arkea 1982, p. 127). Eric Ehrström became the first example in the history of Finnish art of an artist focusing purely on the applied arts. His works included the design of the crown of the planned King of Finland.
