The Gallen-Kallela Museum is in a beautiful scenic location on Laajalahti Bay on the border of Helsinki and Espoo, only 10 kilometres from the centre of Helsinki. It can reached via the Turunväylä motorway and the Kehä I ring road. There is also a route for pedestrians and cyclists leading to the museum from Munkkiniemi in Helsinki and Ruukinranta in Espoo.

Instructions

Take tram no. 4 from the centre of Helsinki to Munkkiniemi. Get off at Laajalahden aukio and walk approximately 2 kilometres through Munkinpuisto Park. There is also bus service on weekdays from Munkkiniemen puistotie.

Take bus no. 106 from the Helsinki coach and bus station to the Ruukinranta intersection on the Kehä I ring road, followed by a 2 kilometre walk to the museum.

By car along the Kehä I ring road to the Ruukinranta intersections. The route to the museum is posted with signs.
