Welcome to study the materials in the museum’s collections.

Please address an enquiry to the museum concerning your theme of study and describe your research topic. We will help you find the materials that you need and if they have not been digitised, an appointment for studying the materials can be agreed up. Please contact us at least a few weeks before the scheduled research.

In order to study letters received by Akseli Gallen-Kallela on microfiche either at the National Archives of Finland or the Gallen-Kallela Museum you will need permission from the museum director. Research permits help the museum in keeping records, showing how much the correspondence collection is used by the public.
